Sailing Ships Through the Ages Exhibition

This exhibition explores sailing ships from ancient times through the Middle Ages and the Age of Exploration, highlighting their roles in exploration, sea battles, and trade. Featured vessels include trading ships, pirate ships, whaling ships, large sailing ships, and yachts. Also on display are educational references such as envoys’ ships to China and collectible stamps depicting the warship that transported Kaishu Katsu to America. Around 800 selected items reveal the history, beauty, and fascination of sailing ships.
