To celebrate the 100th anniversary of Rissho University Library, a workshop on traditional Japanese bookbinding will be held at the Rare Book Museum. The event offers an introduction to the history, structure, and binding styles of Japanese books. Participants can try their hand at both the classic 'four-hole binding' and, newly for this event, the 'Kangxi binding' using needle and thread. Experience the world of rare books and explore the extensive collections of the Rissho University Library and Rare Book Museum. No reservation required.
