Reiko Kamitaki Solo Exhibition – Drifting Observatory

A solo exhibition by Reiko Kamitaki is being held. The concept of drifting involves surrendering to the ocean currents, as life moves from the depths of the sea to new shores. Creatures adrift in the ocean inhabit a world of pure beauty, existing on the stark boundary between predator and prey. The textures of bones and skin, the play of light on water, and the vibrant colors of marine life all reveal the allure and the harshness of their environment. The exhibition hopes to convey both the vividness of the underwater world and its underlying austerity.
