PRIMITIVE ART ORCHESTRA is a piano trio billing itself as 'the smallest orchestra', formed in 2011 by pianist Iori Kimura (bohemianvoodoo), drummer Takao Ito (TRI4TH) and bassist Kohei Morita. After the albums 'HELIX', 'qualia' and 'ARTIFACT' on the Playwright label, the trio returned in 2025 with 'Zero', their first new song in seven years, followed by 'Noisia'. At Cotton Club they play their latest set, including the new material.
