This 80th concert by the Philharmonic Ensemble Orchestra celebrates their return to Tokyo after performing in the Czech Republic. The rising young talent Kento Satsuma, active in the Czech music scene, will serve as both conductor and pianist. This marks his debut in conducting while performing in Tokyo. The program features orchestral masterpieces including Dvořák's 'Carnival', Gershwin's 'Rhapsody in Blue', and Berlioz's magnificent 'Symphonie Fantastique'. Supported by the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Japan and with cooperation from the Czech Government Tourist Board, Czech tourism brochures will also be on display.
