The Ohme Marathon is a long-running citizen road race held on a JAAF-certified course in Ome, western Tokyo, and is often described as a pioneer of Japanese citizen marathons. Runners choose a 30K race, which turns around at Kawai and finishes at Sumitomo Metal Mining Arena Ome, or a 10K race that turns around at Hinatawada and finishes at Ome City Hall. The field is large, with capacity for around 16,000 participants across both distances.
