Held each autumn at Mountain Village in Oku-Tama, western Tokyo, this major two-day event features the theme 'Oku-Tama and Deer' this year. Enjoy local wild game dishes like venison stew, take part in workshops using deer antlers and hides, and try your luck against the Oku-Tama mascot in a rock-paper-scissors contest for prizes. Experience the sights, sounds, and tastes of Oku-Tama's autumn forests and its native deer. There will also be performances of traditional Oku-Tama arts and crafts, as well as booths selling local souvenirs and folk crafts.
