msb gallery is pleased to present “Phénomènes – Genshō ” a solo exhibition by Margaux Baert. Based in Brussels, Belgium, she creates three-dimensional paper art by freely transforming paper into poetic creations, weaving unique stories into images of birds, fish, insects, flowers and a variety of other creatures. This exhibition, featured as part of the official program celebrating the 160th anniversary of friendship between Japan and Belgium,, showcases a series of works created using both Japanese and European papers. It explores the concept of a "Phenomenon" specifically, a mutation occurring between the plant and animal realm. We hope you will enjoy her universe of graceful creativity.
