The Kazuo Iwamura Picture Book Hill Museum, founded in 1998 and themed around picture books, nature, and children, celebrates the 30th anniversary of Kazuo Iwamura’s picture books featuring frogs, such as “The Thinking Frog” and the “Kal and El” series. The exhibition showcases around 70 original illustrations focused on frogs, along with newly written essays, photos, sketches, and prototype books, highlighting the unique charm of Iwamura’s frog-themed works.
