The latest in the award-winning series of one-man plays starring Morio Kazama as Akira Ushiyama, which began in 1997. Ushiyama works as a traveling caregiver throughout Japan. One day, he is asked to become the exclusive caregiver for a legendary retired actress suffering from dementia. Faced with unimaginable challenges in caring for her, can Ushiyama overcome them? This play boldly tackles the theme of Japan’s super-aging society. After a widely acclaimed premiere in March 2026, the beloved caregiver returns for another run!
