The Kaminari Community Marketplace is a farmers’ market located in a natural setting in Kaminari, Tateyama City at the southern tip of the Boso Peninsula in Chiba Prefecture. Since July 2021, it has been held on the third Saturday of each month. In addition to the market, the venue is active in improving local trails, holding photo rallies and workshops such as bamboo craftmaking. Visitors can enjoy the area’s blue skies, white clouds, and lush green forests while experiencing Kaminari’s unique charm. The market features fresh vegetables, rice, game meat, sweets, light meals, and handicrafts. Kama Brewery’s sparkling rice wine 'Kama Makkoli' (made from 100% local Tateyama rice, additive-free, unpasteurized), as well as their spirit 'Kama Soul,' are also available for purchase by volume. Due to the sparkling nature of Kama Makkoli, customers are asked to bring non-breakable bottles such as PET bottles to avoid risks of explosion.
