The Japan Philharmonic Orchestra's 414th Masterpiece Concert (billed as the Elecom Classic Special) takes place on 24 October 2026 at Suntory Hall Large Hall in Tokyo, with doors at 13:20 and the performance starting at 14:00. Chief conductor Kahchun Wong leads a program of Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1 (with pianist Keigo Mukawa) and Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition in Wong's own arrangement, which adds Chinese instruments including dizi, yangqin, huqin and pipa. The concert marks the Japan premiere of this arrangement.
