Paichyu presents the group exhibition In and Out and, curated by artist Takeshi Yasura. Set within a space where eating and viewing art coexist, the exhibition reconsiders the everyday act of excretion, an essential yet often overlooked part of life, through the lens of circulation and interconnectedness. Bringing together six participants working across food, contemporary art, textile dyeing and desert greening research, the exhibition transforms the gallery from a place for viewing artworks into a space that invites visitors to experience, through multiple senses, their own place within larger cycles of life and matter. Throughout the exhibition, a series of related events, including artist talks, a special dining course and dyeing workshops, will also be presented.
