Marking 80 years since the end of the war, this acclaimed play returns in 2025 with a new cast for its first staging in 15 years, after previously selling out every night. Set in Hakata in 1946, just after the war, the story follows Daikichi Matsuo as he returns home to his wife Yayoi, only to find two women, Banba and Koume, living with her. Believing Daikichi to have been dead—his funeral already held—the four begin an unusual shared life, each harboring their own feelings.
