Hibiya Cinema Festival 2026

Once a year, the entire Hibiya district—nicknamed the 'City of Film'—hosts this cinema festival, offering a chance to enjoy movies throughout the neighborhood. This year’s theme is 'Immersive Cinema.' Popular films including 'Notting Hill,' 'Les Misérables,' 'Top Gun,' 'A Dog's Journey,' 'Leon: The Professional,' and 'E.T.' will be screened at the main venue in Hibiya Step Square, as well as at satellite locations: Hibiya Park and Hibiya Okuroji. The festival also features a giant clapperboard-inspired installation, evoking the atmosphere of a real movie set.
