The Geological Survey Center of the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology has been conducting geological surveys of the country since 1882, compiling information on resources into geological maps. This special exhibition showcases mineral resources in Japan revealed through these surveys. Originally held as a special exhibit for 'Geology Day' on May 10 and the 2026 Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry event, this exhibition is being held again.
