The Fresh Masterpieces Concerts are co-presented by Tokyo Bunka Kaikan and Tokyo's local arts foundations to bring a top orchestra and rising young soloists to neighborhood halls at affordable prices. Conductor Daichi Deguchi leads the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra in Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2, with pianist Hidetoshi Nakajima, first-prize and audience-prize winner of the 20th Tokyo Music Competition, followed by Brahms's Symphony No. 4.
