Sugawara Shrine, also known as the 'Child Blessing Shrine,' is home to approximately 90 stones believed to bring fertility and children to those who embrace them. These special stones can only be held during the shrine's two annual festivals and other ceremonial days. Each year on February 25th for the Spring Festival and November 25th for the Autumn Ceremony, many visitors come to pray and embrace the stones.
