Chikura Fishing Port Morning Market at Chikura Port Square
Held on the second and fourth Sundays of each month, the Chikura Fishing Port Morning Market offers freshly caught seafood direct from the port, dried fish, locally grown vegetables, and regional specialty products from well-known local shops. You can also enjoy unique local dishes featuring horse mackerel that are only available at the market. There is also a barbecue area where you can grill and eat the seafood you purchase on the spot—everything you need, including grills, tableware, and seasonings, is provided, and staff are available to offer grilling tips.
