Amaou Strawberry Afternoon Tea at Yokohama Grand InterContinental Hotel

The Yokohama Grand InterContinental Hotel will offer an 'Amaou Strawberry Afternoon Tea' in its second-floor lounge & bar, Marine Blue, from December 1, 2026, to February 28, 2027. Featuring the renowned Amaou strawberries from Fukuoka—known for their large size, beautiful appearance, and rich sweetness—the afternoon tea showcases these premium berries in an array of indulgent desserts. Enjoy treats such as shortcake-style verrines, Paris-Brest, mousse, and tarts, all crafted with Amaou strawberries and paired with chocolate, condensed milk, and fresh cream. A whole fresh Amaou strawberry is also included to highlight its perfect sweet-tart balance. Savory selections include crab wrapped in pastry, a cheese cream with sun-dried tomatoes, olives, and prosciutto, and a dish featuring freshly sourced fish from Fukuoka’s Nagahama Market. On December 24 and 25, a special Christmas version will be available, decorated with seasonal touches and featuring the hotel's signature Christmas stollen. Afternoon tea is served from 12:00 PM for 120 minutes. Prices are 9,200 yen (includes a glass of sparkling wine with strawberries and free choice from 25 types of tea and coffee), or 8,000 yen (without sparkling wine).
