Showa Memorial Park Children's Forest Special Craft Workshop: Bamboo Water Guns

Experience the joy of making things yourself by crafting water guns from bamboo of various thicknesses collected in the park. After finishing your creation, take part in a special outdoor target game. This workshop aims to encourage children’s independence, so adults are not allowed to participate. Woodworking staff will be on hand to guide children in using tools and assembling their water guns. Registration is on the day, with a first-come, first-served system and a rotating admission of up to 9 participants at a time. Open to elementary and middle school students.
