Europe Planning Special Performance: 'The Edge of the World and Three Chords'
A post-apocalyptic sci-fi road-movie "folk song play" written and directed by Makoto Ueda for Europe Kikaku, starring Yoshihiko Inohara in his third collaboration with the troupe after 15 years. Set in a near-future ruined Tokyo with no electricity, it follows two travelers crossing the city by guitar and facing rival folk tribes, from youth folk to underground and neo-acoustic. The cast also includes Seiji Rokkaku, Gota Ishida and Yoshifumi Sakai.
