Elegant and Vibrant Edo Festival 2026 in Amazake Yokocho

A collaborative event between shopping streets in Taito and Chuo Wards. The opening at Amazake Yokocho features stage performances such as an Oiran parlor scene, Asakusa geisha dances, comedic storytelling, fox dances, Japanese musical performances, and traditional juggling. Try your hand at gold leaf and stencil crafts, classic Japanese games like beanbag toss, cup-and-ball, and shooting gallery, or experience wearing tall Oiran sandals (limited to the first 5 people). There will also be food stalls from local shops, with limited servings of leaf-shaped rice crackers and complimentary amazake and tea for visitors. From November 14 to December 6, an Edo-themed quiz rally will also take place.
