On November 1, 2024, Chigasaki City will declare itself a Creative City, recognizing a broad range of people who act and work creatively as 'creators,' and promoting initiatives that energize the community through culture and the arts. As a new project to advance the Creative City concept, 'CHIGASAKI CREATIVE WEEK 2026' will be held for the first time this year! From October 10 to November 23, 2026, creative events and activities will take place at various locations throughout the city, with Chigasaki providing information and support. For a partial list of participating programs, see below. For the full schedule and more details, please visit the special website.
