This campground is located in the northwestern part of Ashio, Nikko. Surrounded by mountains and valleys, the area becomes especially beautiful in autumn when maple and other trees display vibrant colors. It serves as a popular base for climbers heading to Mount Sukai, one of Japan’s 100 famous mountains. The site also features an adjacent hot spring facility, Ashio no Yado Kajika, so visitors can enjoy both camping and hot springs while viewing the autumn leaves.
