Balot99 Solo Exhibition: Epiphany—Manifested Images

When I create my works, inspiration comes to me not as words, but as images. In everyday life, there are moments when several images unexpectedly overlap in my mind, and I build my compositions from that spark. After completing each piece, I search for a corresponding mythological motif to use as its title. When the image that appeared within me aligns with the theme of a myth, I feel a sense of awe, as if my personal experience is connecting with the collective memory of humanity. (Artist’s Statement)
