SH GALLERY is pleased to present “Summon up! Devilish Summoner” a solo exhibition by Backside works. Inspired by Japan’s iconic 1990s otaku culture, Backside works. has consistently centered his artistic practice on the theme of the heroine, drawing creative energy from the era’s unique visual language and spirit. For this exhibition, the artist further refines this concept by focusing on the “bishōjo heroine”—the iconic beautiful girl heroine of Japanese pop culture. The exhibition will feature a diverse selection of new works, including original canvas paintings and lenticular print editions. Backside works. has expressed his desire to convey his gratitude to those who have continuously supported him through his art.
