Asakusa Umezono Pop-up Shop at Nakano Marui

Asakusa Umezono, a long-established traditional Japanese sweets shop from the approach to Sensoji Temple, is running a limited-time pop-up on the 1st floor of Nakano Marui from September 19 to 27, 2026. The lineup features seasonal autumn wagashi made with chestnut and sweet potato, plus shop favorites anmitsu (¥702) and dorayaki (¥378 each), along with kuzumochi (¥648). Ohagi in four flavors (koshian, tsubuan, kinako, sesame, ¥297 each) are sold September 19-23 for the autumn equinox, and tsukimi dango (moon-viewing dumplings) are offered on September 25 for the mid-autumn full moon. The shop closes early (19:00) on the final day.
