This guided tour commemorates the 900th anniversary of Chiba's founding and the 100th anniversary of the full opening of the Tako Line. Participants travel by JR Kanto Bus 'Tako Main Line' and on foot through Narita, Sanrizuka, and Tako Town, visiting sites related to the Railway Regiment, memories along the old Tako Line, the ruins of Tako Castle, Myokoji Temple, and the Tako Domain residence site. At Myokoji Temple, there is a special viewing of the wooden statue of Myoken Bodhisattva, usually shown only on June 15. The tour explores the region’s 'history of transportation'—from the Railway Regiment, Prefectural Railway, Tako Line, and National Railway Bus, up to today's JR Bus—through three special sessions combining bus rides and walking.
