8th Annual Concert by the Meiji University Mandolin Club Alumni Memorial Orchestra

A mandolin orchestra concert performed by alumni of the Meiji University Mandolin Club, which was co-founded by the 'Father of Japanese Popular Music,' Masao Koga. The first part features 'Mandolin Sounds in Acoustic,' while the second part welcomes shakuhachi player Ryuichi Shirakura for a segment themed 'The Spirit of Japan Meets Western Art.' The concert includes Koga's famous melodies as well as film scores, pop hits, tango, folk music, and canzone, offering a collection of world-renowned tunes.
