54th Akishima Citizens Whale Festival Yume Fireworks

Inspired by whale fossils discovered in Akishima over 160 million years ago, the Akishima Citizens Whale Festival Yume Fireworks is a summer tradition in Akishima, Tokyo. The 54th edition features approximately 4,000 fireworks, including star mine displays, projected over about 30 minutes to create a spectacular show overhead. Its close proximity to the viewing area offers an immersive experience of sound and light. The fireworks are part of the festival celebrations, which are enjoyed throughout the day, from morning morning to night.
