The Asakusa Samba Carnival has been supported by the lively people of Asakusa since 1981 and has grown into a major event attracting 500,000 visitors annually. Modeled after the Rio Carnival in Brazil, it features world-class performances with energetic bateria drumming, vibrant dancers, lively singing, and colorful decorations. Samba rhythms fill the streets of Asakusa!
