A recital by tenor Hirohisa Tsuji and composer/pianist Akane Nakanishi. For the 30th edition of the British Song Showcase, they will perform songs by Tippett, Finzi, and Shakespeare-inspired pieces by Akane Nakanishi. The program includes selection from Nakanishi’s 'Shakespeare’s Fairies,' featured on the CD 'My Star,' as well as the world premiere of her new work, 'The Jester’s Song.'
