Opened in 2000, the Museum of Returnees' Memories collects around 30,000 materials, primarily related to soldiers from the last war, those forcibly detained after the war (such as Siberian internees), and Japanese repatriates from overseas. These objects encapsulate a vast trove of historical memories. This exhibition uses the collected artifacts to unravel the stories of war survivors and their families.
