Digital twins are technologies that replicate the real world in digital space, generating new value by linking the two. With advances in data-driven modeling, their applications have expanded from traditional physical fields to broader social domains, now supporting both design and societal decision-making. Meanwhile, new technologies like AI agent systems are rapidly being adopted, continually changing the challenges society faces, including disaster response and geopolitical risks. This event features expert dialogues examining next-generation digital twin technologies and frameworks connecting real and digital environments in a rapidly evolving technological and social landscape.
Keynote: "Innovative Expansion of Digital Space-Time — For Human-AI Coevolution in the Real World"
Speaker: Yoichi Motomura (Chair, Artificial Intelligence Consortium of the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology; President, Japanese Society for Artificial Intelligence)
Content: As the integration of AI, such as physical AI, accelerates in society, a digital twin that handles interactions across time, space, and people is essential for shared perception between humans and AI. The keynote will present examples from the innovative digital space-time expansion project under JST CREST.
A networking session will be held after the event.
We look forward to your participation.
