Moon Art Night Shimokitazawa 2026
An arts festival held throughout Shimokitazawa, featuring around 100 moon-themed events including art installations, music, theater performances, food and drink, and workshops. Now in its fifth year, this edition will showcase works by five Japanese and international artists—such as Luke Jerram's spherical installations and oversized balloon emoji sculptures—displayed at various locations along the Shimokita Railway Street. Highlights include an immersive theater production inspired by modern poet Sakutaro Hagiwara’s celebrated work 'Cat Town', a digital stamp rally across the neighborhood, and special moon-inspired gourmet dishes available at local eateries for a limited time.
