Children of the Stage Theater Company Presents: 'The Hakata Bayside Storm Kids 2026'
November 24 – December 6, 2026
This play tells the story of a community whose residents make a living by collecting trash from the river, known as 'Kadarou', and female factory workers who flee to their village. Together, they struggle to overcome hardships and fight for survival. This acclaimed work, previously performed in 2005 at The Suzunari and in 2007 at Kichijoji Theater, is revived with a diverse cast of guest performers. After-show backstage tours (free of charge) will be held on November 27 (Fri) at 2pm, 28 (Sat) at 1pm, December 1 (Tue) at 2pm, and 3 (Thu) at 2pm. Discounted tickets for those under 30 are available for 3,500 yen at all performances.
