An exhibition celebrating the 20th anniversary of Chiba Prefecture’s official mascot, Chiba-kun. First created in 2007 for the Dream Island Chiba National Sports Festival, Chiba-kun has become a beloved symbol of the region. The exhibition traces two decades of Chiba-kun’s history and showcases original works by creator Chiharu Sakazaki. Highlights include logo designs and artwork created for various prefectural projects, a specially commissioned two-panel folding screen measuring 2 meters wide by 1.5 meters tall titled “Welcome Chiba-kun,” a wooden puzzle featuring Chiba-kun’s face on all Japan’s prefectures, and creative venue decorations made from 1,200 cardboard boxes. The exhibition also features the picture book 'Chiba-kun’s Alphabet' and special figurines.
