The Machida Philharmonic Baroque Ensemble is a chamber string orchestra formed mainly by members of the Machida Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, active since 1990. In 2019, the group was recognized by Machida City for its significant contribution to the promotion of arts and culture. Since the opening of Popuri Hall at Wakō University in 2012, the ensemble has held a well-received concert there every November, making this the 14th annual performance.
