A monthly reading group explains the world of the Kojiki, Japan’s oldest chronicle, in an accessible way for those who have never read it before. Explore the origins of traditional Japanese culture through the perspectives on the universe and world held by people in the 8th century. Although this is a continuing lecture series, each session includes a review, so newcomers can join at any time. Open to everyone. This time, the group will continue with the first volume of the Kojiki, focusing on the mythology of Takamagahara’s descent to earth and the tales of the transfer of land.
