A groundbreaking collaboration performance featuring Hiromi Maruhashi, an acclaimed South Indian classical dancer, and Kikuchiyo Kokontei, a celebrated rakugo storyteller. Kikuchiyo presents an original tale based on Indian mythology, which Maruhashi narrates while seated on a cushion, seamlessly transforming the story into a vivid performance of Mohiniyattam, a graceful South Indian dance. Experience a unique stage where a single artist expands worlds through words, portrays deities through movement and gesture, and achieves the pinnacle of 'one person, many roles' through a blend of narration, expressive gestures, and beautiful dance steps. Held at Za-Koenji Theater.
