'Face-changing' is a traditional Chinese theatrical art in which performers swiftly change their masks in an instant. The first part of this event is a seminar led by an active face-changing artist, explaining the history, cultural development, and unique appeal of this art form. The second part features a parent-child performance by Wang Wenqiang and his son, Wang Wusheng (age 7), the youngest face-changing artist in Japan. Enjoy an exciting and educational show about traditional Chinese theater. At the end, there will be a photo session where you can take pictures with the performers.
