Yasukazu Kiyokawa: Memories of the Atelier

Yasukazu Kiyokawa (1919-2000), a painter who pursued his unique abstract expression without being constrained by representational art, established his home and studio in Seijo, Tokyo, in 1949. For approximately 50 years, Kiyokawa deeply loved his atelier and created many works there. Through paintings and materials related to the building, visitors can experience the atmosphere of Kiyokawa's studio that he cherished during his lifetime.
