A collaborative exhibition by transparent specimen artist Iori Tomita and Aqua World Ibaraki Prefectural Oarai Aquarium. The special exhibition room on the fourth floor features Tomita’s transparent specimen creations, along with explanatory panels placed next to aquarium tanks allowing visitors to compare live animals with their transparent specimens. The on-site café Mermaid offers exclusive event-themed menu items such as sweets made with clear warabi mochi and colorful drinks that change appearance when syrup is added.
