Yukihiko Takahashi was born in 1947 in Tomioka, Fukushima Prefecture. He studied oil painting at Tokyo University of the Arts, where he won the Ataka Prize and the Ohashi Prize (now known as the Mr. O Memorial Prize) while still a student. After completing graduate studies, he taught at both Tokyo University of the Arts and Tama Art University. Since his first solo exhibition at Taimai Gallery in 1978, he has consistently produced and exhibited his works, participating in exhibitions such as the Contemporary Figurative Art Exhibition and the Figurative Art for Tomorrow Exhibition. This exhibition brings together approximately 50 pieces from the early stages of his career to his more recent works.
