This is the first Tokyo exhibition by scenic artist Yuji Aoyama, a three-time winner of the Hamamatsu Diorama Grand Prix and Grand Master. Aoyama’s intricate and imaginative works are displayed alongside pieces by Takuji Yamada. Highlights include a piece featuring pairs of 111 types of animals—such as elephants, giraffes, and hippos—journeying to a new world aboard an ark carried by a cat, and 'Azuchi Castle: Memories of Nobunaga and Mitsuhide,' depicting over a thousand laborers working during the construction of Azuchi Castle. A total of eight works are on display.
