DESCRIPTION:From October 29 to December 6\, Kencho-ji Temple in Kamakura\, Kanagawa Prefecture\, will host the special evening event 'VIE Presents Zen Night Kamakura.' Part of a popular event series that has drawn over 70\,000 visitors in Kyoto and Kamakura\, it returns to Kencho-ji for a second consecutive year. Founded in 1253 by the Kamakura shogunate’s fifth regent\, Tokiyori Hojo\, with Zen master Lanxi Daolong as its first abbot\, Kencho-ji ranks as the foremost of the Five Great Zen Temples of Kamakura. This event is also part of preparations for the temple's 750th anniversary in 2028. From 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM\, visitors can stroll the scenic temple grounds\, transformed with autumn colors and ambient 'neuro-music' for a calming\, meditative experience akin to walking Zen.
