Ueno is a city where numerous iconic towers stand and stylish shops increase, while still offering a nostalgic downtown atmosphere. The winter illumination at Ueno Forest Sakura Terrace is designed around the concept of a 'canyon,' featuring lights inspired by cascading sunlight into a gorge and icicle formations on rugged rock faces. These beautifully crafted, icicle-shaped lights create a magical and enchanting atmosphere. Visitors are immersed in a fantastical world of light that perfectly harmonizes the bustling city energy with the natural beauty of the landscape.
