A traditional event with roots in the Edo period, held every November at Otori Shrine in Meguro. The shrine draws many visitors wishing for success in business, good fortune, and family safety. Lucky rakes and special good luck charms are on display and for sale on the grounds. During the festival, ritual dances and music performances take place at the shrine, and on the second day, traditional chanting by historic fire brigade members is featured.
