November 1 is Measurement Commemoration Day. The 'Tokyo Residents' Measurement Fair' is held to encourage public interest in measurement in a fun way. The theme is 'Measurement Laws That Protect Our Lives' (subtheme: 'Did You Know? Measurement in Everyday Life'). Visitors can take part in various measurement activities and a quiz rally where they collect stamps by answering questions.
